2 Cute/Remember

It's always so nice to get back to my scrapbooking table after I've been "too busy" for awhile. I thought I was too tired to scrap tonight but I sat at the computer and started finding inspiration all over.

This page was inspired by the "Bookmarks" Challenge at Two Peas. You simply go to your list of bookmarked "favorite" layouts and use this week's specified page and layout # as your inspiration. You can see my inspiration page here.

Then, while browsing the Two Peas gallery I found this beautiful layout which led me to the very inspiring Color Combos Galore network.

And yes these are older photos. When I gave myself the freedom to scrap without rules (like not having to do every photo chronologically before moving on to the next) I ended up with gaps in my albums. But not to worry, there are no rules. I can just do them as I feel inspired!

If you've never been on etsy.com before just beware it can easily become an addiction! Ok you've been warned. Now go look at all the beautiful, simple, elegant, hand-crafted, quality pieces at LaBella Jewels. I just treated myself to a late birthday present and can't wait to receive it. And if you wander off into the endless array of other amazing hand-crafted items on etsy at least let me know what you find!

My new very favorite blog I just discovered. It's everything CRAFTY as it happens. My favorite of course being the pages and pages and pages of Recycled Crafts with everything from trendy gifts, mementos, practical solutions, kids' toys... just tons of great ideas that will have you thinking twice before you throw something in the trash next time. Plenty of ideas to keep you and your kids occupied for the rest of summer too.

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. First off its FREE so go over and sign up right away. You simply click on the calendar date and upload a photo for that day and you have your own daily photo calendar. I take photos nearly every day anyway so this is perfect.

Everything Preschool

Just found this incredible website called Activity Village, its a European site that has absolutely every possible preschool activity and theme you can imagine. Rather than list it all just click on over here to see for yourself. Oh and its not just "preschool" there is stuff for older kids too.

Turkey Hands

My friend Tiffany sent a link for these awesome Handprint Turkey Cookies. Its at a site called FamilyCorner.com, I'd never been to this website before and it has tons of wonderful ideas so I wanted to share. My other favorite beside the cookies is this Family Handprint Turkey.

Learn to Read

If you have preschoolers check out this website: www.starfall.com. "Where children have fun learning to read." Recommended by librarians, used by teachers. So many fun, cute games to teach letter sounds, letter recognition, alphabet sign language, for those just learning their ABCs all the way up to "I'm reading!" Also notice on the ABCs page there are great printables for each letter.

If you're still in the spirit, go to the main page and click the pumpkin to create your own little pumpin face that will do a little jig when complete.
