Do Bats Lay Eggs?

Cali's question for me today. I thought I knew the answer but I told her I'd research it to be sure. Bats do not lay eggs, they are mammals. They give birth to tiny, hairless baby bats called "pups." The pups drink milk from their mothers just like all mammals. For more bat facts, photos, crafts, and coloring pages visit http://www.kidzone.com.

I tried to add a comment on your photocal, but I couldn't get it to work. I love the picture of Diego from today. He's a cutie!
