What Little Plastic Animals Eat

One of Cali's most beloved "toys" is her large collection of little plastic animals. She can spend an hour just lining them all up however she sees fit. Daddy even made her this very special board for them to all stand on since a lot of them don't cooperate on the carpet. Well I let her set it up in her room the other day (her animals are strictly off limits to D seeing as all he wants to do is knock them all down which really makes her mad!) and they've been there ever since. She is also in a phase where she will go several days without taking an afternoon nap but she is still required to stay in her room and play quietly by herself. On one of these no-nap days I peeked in to see what she was up to and her reply was "feeding my animals." I was curious what it was they would eat....



Turns out little plastic animals all love to eat little decorative glass 'stones'. Who knew?
